Is Ciglet a quit-smoking app?
No. Ciglet is a perspective tool. It shows you exactly how much you smoke and what it costs — month, year, decade. What you do with that information is entirely your choice. We don't tell you to stop. We don't make you feel bad. We just count.
Will Ciglet shame me or guilt-trip me?
Never. There are no red warnings, no shame banners, no "you've failed today" copy. The tone is calm. The mascot is a meditating sadhu, not a finger-wagging doctor.
Is my data private?
Yes. By default, every cigarette you log lives on your device — local storage, your browser, no server. Cloud sync is optional and tied only to your phone number for OTP login. We don't sell, share, or analyse your data for ads. There are no ads.
Does Ciglet work offline?
Yes. Ciglet is built offline-first as a Progressive Web App. Logging works on a flight, on the metro, in a basement — anywhere. When you're back online, your logs sync silently.
What does Ciglet cost?
Free. Forever. No subscription, no premium tier, no ads. If it helps you and you want to throw a few rupees at it, there's a Donate button. Otherwise, just use it.

Does Ciglet work on iPhone?
Yes. Open ciglet.com in Safari, tap Share, tap "Add to Home Screen". Ciglet will live on your home screen like any other app, work offline, and never appear in the App Store. (We're not on the App Store on purpose — keeps it free and free of gatekeepers.)
Does Ciglet work on Android?
Yes. Open ciglet.com in Chrome and you'll see "Add Ciglet to Home Screen" or "Install app" in the menu. Tap it. Done. Same offline behaviour, no Play Store needed.
Will I get reminders to stop smoking?
No. We don't send guilt-trip notifications. Ciglet only opens when you open it.
Can I export my data?
Yes — full CSV export anytime, from the Me tab. Every log, every brand, every mood, every rupee. Open it in Excel, Numbers, or send it to your doctor.
Why "Ciglet"?
A small word for a small ritual. Diminutive — the smoke isn't the centre of your life, it's just a thing you do that we keep track of. The sadhu mascot says the rest.
